Haven't seen this one before--what a great ad. Looks like the agi takes up about 3/4 of the tub, however. Love the verbage about the twin tub--Driving Miss Daisy comes to mind, and my Dad says that when he and his Mom lived with her parents, they got one of those and were "THRILLED." I personally don't see the big deal since I would want to use the second tub as a rinse tub, and the spin dryer as a second rinse and spin thing.

But alas, I grew up with a Maytag Wringer and then a GE Combo, then a Whirlpool/RCA set, etc.

I'd love to have all of the different kinds of machines and try them out.

Hey C in Waynesboro

I've got an Easy Spindry. It's the most fun washer there is to use.

Using lots of different ones is fun, but seems like those on the market today are basically all the same.

If I can get my 2 Bendix machines going, I'll be real happy.

Good luck.

now I know

I too have watched Miss Daisy and couldn't figure out how her washer would have worked.
I always thought it was two bottom parts of wringer washers put together and then you would put a wringer in between.
I didn't know it was a spin drier.
