I am on an experimental regimen of radio active anitbodies and three forms of chemo, Cytoxin, Flidarabine and Retuxin. It is rigorous and I have have had some side effects, but have been able to enjoy life. I am tolerating it better than anyone expected. The past three years have been a journey of learning. Learning about myself, about love and about God. I was the best father I knew how to be and I am very proud of the kids. We are comfortable with each other and have fun. I did get to know love in a life changing way and in this new incarnation of Spiritual healing, I have found Peace.
In this moment I am satisfied and fulfilled.
I appreciate the crazy, zany and often tender moments with this group. The highlight for me was having Dick S here and to hand off the round Kenmore and one of the first 50 Visi Matic wringer washers every made. It's the joy of being connected and belonging that we give each other.
Today begins the treatment from which there is no turning back. I feel a bit like you do when you're waiting in line for your turn to ride the Rock-O-Plane. A little jittery and knowing it will be fun. If I am in Tuscon in March you'll see and touch a new textbook experiment. It is my intention to be there, I have the ticket.
Thank you for the candle, Togs. I love you and am grateful I got to know the "real" you. Watching the cycle of love and knowing Gary has been an honor.
Happy New Year and may everything we do bring each of satisfaction and fulfilment.
Kelly

Oh,

Best of luck, and we're on your side, dear Kelly!

You have been in my prayers for some time, and more so now.

Description from
"Mastering the Tarot" by Eden Gray

His lantern is the lamp of truth "Where I am there you may be"

He has arried at the high point of spiritual wisdom, which he is now weilling to share with others.

Thank you for showing us your lamp.

You are a unique light unto the universe.

So again I offer you light, love, peace, calm, wisdom with my lamp in honor of you.

May the all-that-is continue to guide and illuminate your path, an have mercy on you and all of us.

I love you too.

Kelly,

all the best to you as you walk this road.
My favorite verse from the bible is this: Deuteronomy 31:6
I hope it comforts and uplifts you.
My prayers go with you.
Jeff

Oh Kelly,

Reading your post gave me chills and I am so happy that I got to chat with you 'live' yesterday.

You are in my thoughts and prayers, and we will be meeting each other in person in Tuscon in March.

Positive energy and thoughts are being sent your way. After all, you were the crutch that I needed during my transtition in 2006. My only hope is that you lean on me if you need anything.

Love you Kelly!

Gary

Just approved..

My time off request for Tucson is approved Kelly, God Willing I will be there, and hope to see you too!

Watching the cycle of love and knowing Gary has been an hono

The honor has been getting to know you Kelly, a warm, wonderful, kind and gentle soul. You were the 'glue' for me in 2006, and now the proverbial 'Big Shoe' is on the other foot and I am here to graciously return the favor.

Remember, I have a vintage KA for you waiting.

Gary

For all the selfless giving you've done here all year, t

I can't imagine anyone more deserving or clearly in line for the gift of a cure than you, Kelly.

I bid you Godspeed on your journey and thank you.

Kelly, as I said in another thread, you're always in my thoughts and prayers, have never forgotten your challenge because of me working in a hospital. God willing, and responsibilities of work not hampering, I will see yo0u in Tucson. Besides, I have that boat load of hugs and snuggles to give you!!! Bob

I know this is a HUGE step for you. Hope you find strength in knowing that you're being prayed for. Hoover1060 already gave you the best advice I can offer, Deut. 31:6. Read that and believe!!
God's best to you.

Deuteronomy 31:6

was given to me at my Confirmation in 1978. I memorized it back then, and it has guided me every day since.

"Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you or forsake you."

Course in Miracles

I have relied on God my entire life to explain the inexplicable to me as an abused child, an angry young man and disillusioned adult, dianosed with terminal cancer.
I have been stuying an extraordinary work titled, A Course in Miracles. I read a passage that suggests the soul does not exist in the body, but the body resides in the soul. The soul is eternal and the body transitory. In that moment any concern left, because I know something Eternal knows my name. The first installment of the drugs are in me and I will return for a total of five days. I know I will be in Tuscon.

I believe too, and I know you will be in Tucson as well.

I pray your moment of victory is close as hand.

Love ya, Scotty.....

I know I will be in Tuscon.

OK Kelly, now that we have that in writing we are going to hold you to it!

I bought plane tickets last night, I am so psyched about this!

Easy Catch

Dear Jeff et all,

I'm an easy catch and easier to hold. Of course you can hold me to the promise we'll all meet in Tuscon. I also promise we'll have nothing to discuss but water action because I'll be well, normal, average, boring and ready to thing of fun diversions.
Kelly

Kelly the adjectives boring and normal have never been in my thoughts when thinking about you or reading posts. Glad you're easy to catch and easy to hold!!!

You don't always know what you have unitl you lose it.

Life is a gift, that is why we call today the present.

Thank you Kelly for reminding us to love the moment and treasure it.
