Sudsmaster I love the way you think. I used a bidet once and I spent alot of time on it. My ex was wondering what was taking me so long and I didnt even hear him ask the question. I was in another world. If I had one here I would never have to leave the bathroom since that would be my fave thing in it. I know TMI but when you combine a blast of water pressure and jets so perfectly aimed and it can put the eyes in the back of my head...well you get the idea...just thinking of it gets me all moist.
Anyways we are a Charmin Mega Roll household.

Price Rules

For me, it's the cheapest 2-ply I can find (usually White Cloud, Angel Soft or Kroger's house brand). I've tried Charmin Ultra--it's soft but it doesn't dissolve well.
The best TP I've found is Quilted Northern 3-ply; I'll stock up when it goes on sale again.
 
We're a Kleenex Cottonelle Double Length household here.

A thinner toilet paper, but its never broken through. When it comes on sale, we get the equivilent of 8 rolls for $5.99.

Michaels Mum insists on using 3ply toilet paper and I swear its like wiping ones behind with printer paper, but without the paper cuts.
 
I use either Target or Ralphs grocery store store brand. I think they're pretty much the same as quilted Northern though. Name brand stuff is way too expensive.

That said, in the paper family or food or household products at large, paper towels (Viva) is one of few things in the world I buy where I have a very strong brand loyalty/preference, so go figure.
 
Not for dinner conversation

Well, the purpose of the handheld shower massage is - and I hope this isn't TMI - it's the only way, outside of a long bath, to get really clean down there, IMHO. TP just kind of, well, smears it around. For years I was quite squeamish about such things until I figured what the heck it's just another part of my body that needs upkeep like any other part.

A bidet would be a tad more convenient - esp when one must dump and go fully dressed - but it would be a major plumbing expense to have one installed in one's home, at least in the USA.
 
OOOOHHHHHH I love her! She played Margo in that series on PBS I think it was called Good Neighbors. Then she played a rich woman that went broke yet she ended up marrying the guy that bought her manor in To the Manor Born. Sharp wit and sharp tongue she was fabulous dahlinks!

My partner used to refer to me as "Audrey" when he thought I was getting a bit too full of myself, LOL.
 
In my case its whatever...

Decent looking stuff is on offer at a good price.

Charmin is good but wont pay proper price for it!- my limit is 25p/40c a roll, that goes for pretty much whatever I end up with lol.

Currently on Nicky quilted from Netto- its perfectly acceptable with no "break through" moments and is only £1.99 for 12 rolls at the mo- I have 3 dozen in store lol :) :)
