Well, that's the beauty of it -

you can watch a particular show, or not watch it, at your whim!

I personally watch very little TV. I don't even have cable or satellite. would be a waste of money for me - one of my clients has DirectTV in her office with all the premium channels. As far as I can see, it's 999 channels of crap instead of the couple dozen that I get with rabbit ears. The only reason to get it would be to get better reception and not have to hop up and wiggle the antennas every time I change the channels.

But, tell-all time here, I do have a particular weakness for soccer players, so the possibility of Mr Beckham portraying one-half of a gay marital partnership jussssst might entice me to watch the loathsome program(me).......!

I can empathize with that. I just have some sort of compulsion
(illogical?) not to "personally/emotionally" endorse such things
(Desperate Anything). If it was done on some other less
manipulative show, I would not have a problem with it. To refer
to another thread, if it was on MTM it would be great - but I'm
thinking this is a bit advanced for back then...

Way back when I watch a couple of episodes of this show, it was ok...

Becks just did a hot spread in W magazine that was left at the laundromat. He is good looking and has a killer body. But soccer will not catch on here, and he and Posh will earn millions and retire back to the UK when the fad fizzles. Her "reality" show and his "acting" only serves to line their pockets with as much as they can in as short amount of time as they can before the gig is up.
