I am late in the game. What has happened to trainguy and his parting of you treasures.
Did he sell his items at the price he asked?

half a dozen times he would send me parts i asked for and then i never heard from him again.

i offered to buy them, it wasn't like i was expecting them for free. i agreed to pay shipping as well.

I think that's a little unfair for you to say that.....
If you knew Rich's personal circumstances with the illness of his partner i don't think you would be so quick to judge.

I know if i was faced with taking care of my partner who has been pretty ill and still having to work for a living and having to deal with dozens of emails.....i know where my priorities would be...

Oh.....and i was going to get something off Rich too and i have come to realise that he will get to it when he can!

I made a purchase

from Trainguy on ebay recently and he sent me exactly what I ordered in the agreed price and shipped it in a speedy manner. He even sent me an extra treat which I did not pay for.
I did not know his life circumstances however, I experienced pleasant communication and a very positive buying experience

i wasn't judging anyone

i was just stating the facts! he sent me more than a couple e mails, i answered them and told him what i was looking for and he sent more back saying he would send the parts, i told him i would pay him (and shipping) and then i never heard from him again!

this was last summer and early fall. i sent him another e mail at the beginning of this year and never heard back.

And not everyone knows what's happening behind the scenes.
