Transmission Oil

My older Maytag washer left some transmission oil on one of my sheets the other day. I line dried it so the dryer didn't set it. Does anyone have an idea what I could put on this sheet to remove this stain??? Thanks!!!!

Hi Bob, Try some Dawn dishwashing liquid. Leave it on overnight, then rinse and wash as usual. Or, try Spray and Wash stain stick.

do you have a steam cleaner?
if so... use the jet nozzle!
it will make the oil splash away from the fabric.

with that Dawn. I tried original Dawn overnight to remove a grease stain, and ended up with a blue stain. Get some clear Dawn if you want to try it.
