Greetings! I need a little help here if you can.... my best friend sat on a outdoor bench yesterday not realizing there was tree sap on the bench. When he got up the sap pulled completely off the bench, sticking to his Polyester Blend work pants.

He would really hate to throw away a perfectly good pair of pants because of this.

Does anyone know a good way to remove the tree sap from these pants?

Thank you so much in advance!
Kevin

Hi Kevin ... Try "Goo-Gone". Use a terry cloth to apply/rub it out. Make sure you rinse it out with warm water and then launder.

I've also used "Go-Jo"; that's great for removing oil, grease, etc. from your hands. It doesn't stain, either.

Hope that helps ... :-)

Friends don't let friends wear polyester pants. :-)

If he's intent on saving them, nail polish remover (good), rubbing alcohol (better) or hair spray (best) will work.

Anone ever use table sugar as a solvent for washing greasy hands. I have always known sugar to be a good solvent as well as gritty to scrub with. best on black car grease.
