Tribute to diana concert 1st july 2007

I was very privileged to finally get tickets for this event it took place in Wembley stadium to mark princess Diana’s 45th birthday 70,000 people turned out and managed to raise £35000000 for the princess Diana’s charity’s that she was involved in! It was a very emotionally moving night. It was shown all over the world. The performers all donated their money to there Diana’s charities im just grateful that we got chance to take part in this wonderful event. she was a wonderful woman.

Glad you were able to attend this one-time-only concert. I heard there were 24 performers, each performing only a couple of numbers. That must have been one star-studded event! Saw a bit of news coverage about it this morning on US breakfast television.

It is great that you got tickets and were able to attend
that very significant event. It is still difficult to contemplate that Princess Diana is gone.
