We moved the washer into place when it came off of the dolly and staight on the gagage floor. I was not happy. We went to hook it up. It fills up and then gives me an intake fault. It also seems to be filling a little more that usual then quits with another intake fault. It also does not want to drain all of the way, plus it will not tumble. What would be your guess as to what could be wrong with it. I am calling Miele in the morning to schedule a service call. What do you think

The machine fell off a stand?

Sounds like something may have come loose like the water-level pressure tube.

Mieles do not have a seperate motor control board. They usually have a UI bord that controlls the cycles and UI and a second bord with all the "acting" parts of the electronics.
It actually sounds like a loose connection on the water level sensing system. Or the pressure tube not being connected. How long does it fill until it gives an error?
If the pressure sensor might be damaged, you may have luck or not. I don't know how this model is set up, but some Mieles have the pressure sensor built in on the second control bord. (This actually made a lot of less informed people trash their washer over here as they checked the pressure tube for blockages or the sensor for correct acting by blowing into the tube from the drum connection side into the sensor which mostly destroyed the delicate membrane in it.) If this somehow got damaged, you'll probably pay north of 150$ for the part alone (and usually 300-400$ total).
If it is one of the not so elaborate machines the new sensor will cost anywhere from 40-90$.
But honestly, probably just a messed up connection.

It can be repaired!

The appliance and refrigeration hospital has spoken..... After being dropped on an 80 year old floor, they re connected a wire and told my partner that it was just a " Light Assy" ? Well is that all ? It is about $ 90 bucks if they can find it. Are they hard to find?

They replaced the light assembly

Works for a minute and then an intake fault once again. At least it is tumbling. More in a moment.............. The out of ballence sensor located to the door on the right is the culprit. Thankfully, it was not the $644 board. Really dodged a bullet. The part will be here from New Jersey next week. What a relief . The tech that is repairing it also looked at everyone's posts and gave us a very nice compliment. You guys are great😀
