Troubleshooting chrome Amana RR-10 1979

Hi, I just got lucky enough to find a 1979 wood laminate sided chrome Amana Radarange. It looks really clean but the numbers are acting weird and now the door isn’t closing right. I was hoping someone might guide me. I’m a mechanical idiot and a real newbie. I’m better off hiring someone if anyone knows repair people in Chicagoland
