The washer in the picture is a real-deal GM Frigidaire 1-18, but what concerns me is the seller indicates that the item for sale is an almond dryer. The item pictured is anything other than an almond dryer.

Late 1-18 too. Love these cool panels!

Yes, a real GM 1-18. Looks very similar to the one Joe Lippard just got in another thread.

Yes, the thing in the middle of the wash basket will go up and down rapidly. It does bounce. YOu can make the machine bounce too if you're creative. Is it junk or not? I don't know, I have not seen that machine for sale in person. It could be, who knows. Look great on the outside, but could have trashed internals, bad bellows, etc.
