Has anyone ever seen or used or remembered an item from the Tupperware Millionaire's Line from the 50s into the 60s called a bell funnel? The link has a picture. I have had one for years that I bought at either a flea market or an estate sale. It has not been used because the solid tip has not been cut from the funnel's end. My guess is that once cut off, the little stem could be inverted to seal the opening. Literature I have found says the red one could be used for dispensing ketchup. I would imagine that the design would lend itself to dribbling oil into a blender while making mayonnaise, serving the same purpose as the little hole in the pusher in a Cuisinart since we were told by the company reps that was the hole's purpose. The spout of the funnel has external ribs to keep it from sealing into the neck of a bottle, allowing air to escape as the bottle was filled. I had never bothered to research it until tonight and, of course, when I bought it there was no internet. So another mystery is solved thanks to refining Google searches.
