Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

It looks like one that I think Easy made decades ago.I have to dig deep through the cobwebs of my mind but if they are correct I think it was countertop designed and the tub would raise up to spin and lower itself to agitate. It was semi-automatic.

Hi Mike, if you scroll down through the entry on Ebay, i did make a adventurous request to the seller to see if they could look into the possibility of shipping..think i was hoping a bit too much...
I won the instruction manual on this machine a few weeks ago, and it look fab, and in reality it is the same set up as a Thor Automagic, although the process of switching between wash & spin are slightly different, great machine to have though..Anybody know anyone who is coming to live in the UK from Oz ??
Cheers
Keith

I have one of these machines. It is in rougher condition than the one in the ad, but it works. They are a pretty poor machine though.

I can no longer use mine as it draws too much power when stating up, my solar power system can't cope and clicks off. Not sure if the machine motor has a fault or just has a big surge when starting. I used to have a big diesel generator which could run the Turner, but I have sold it.

The Turner is still in my shed waiting for a power system upgrade... A cute machine but really, it is a rubbish design. The agitator is joined to the washbowl, it turns the whole bowl back and forth to agitate. It throws water over the side onto the floor when agitating, and it needs to be bolted down to spin. (Mine isn't, and it just about fell over when I tried spinning some washing in it.)

Chris.
