It is a lovely dishwasher. Not sure, however, where the KDS-15 ranks in terms of features/washing performance. Did it still have the cast iron wash arm, or was it one of the firs to go over to the stainless quad arm? The picture shows that it's an interesting hybrid control - the timer dial (I think) on the lowest cabinet panel, with cycle selection buttons (I think) on the upper control panel.

Rich, the 15 series was the first with the 4-way HydroSweep wash arm. The racks were also larger--what you're used to seeing in subsequent hobart designed Kas. I believe this was also the first Superba with a 180 degree sani rinse. I do believe the KDI14 & KDS14 also had what you called "hybrid-control" timer on the right of the lower panel and push buttons to start the machine.

Someone

is a lucky winner. My mother had the cooktop and oven in coppertone. It was still in the house and working when she passed away and dad sold the house in early 90's. I hope it was an AW member that lucked up.
