Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

If it were on any other channel, it would be enjoyable. Very annoying when they put "popups" on the screen, for some upcoming show, the same show they just showed us a commercial for 30 seconds earlier! They all do it, but Sci FI seems to be one of the worst offenders.

You're right about that. It's marginally better late night/early morning during these marathons. Luckily my all-time favorite episode ("Nothing in the Dark") is being shown at 12:30AM tonight. Wonderful Wanda Dunn, and a very young/handsome Robert Redford..

Tina gets the last word in that one. :-)

They showed another of my favs today, "A Thing About Machines"..

"In this /grand conspiracy/, this /mortal combat/ between /you/ and the /appliances/.. I. Hope. You. LOSE!"

Great line, delivered with perfect dripping sarcasm by Barbara Stuart.

My brother used to tape these on a tape recorder back in the 1970s and play them for me. He is that show's biggest fan, and knows every episode.

My favorites are "Talkie Tina", and "The Jeopardy Room", where the bomb was planted in the phone. I liked how the room was numbered 963. Reducing those individual numbers to their lowest common multiples, you get 321............BOOM!

Have a good one,
James

OK JeffG

you know and appear to spend a great deal of time watching television and know alot about television shows.

I know a school teacher who watched every movie that comes out and keeps up with that industry to the point he got a job advising with the Turner folks.

My point....you seem to be really well versed with these television shows. Use your knowledge. You could make an income from what you know. You have a world of information at your disposal if you know how to use it.

Learn your options in life I tell everybody I deal with in my work. There can be opportunities there that are not clear without close examination.

LOL

Greg, I'm no fan of TV. Aside from baseball games in season, the power button on our remote stays firmly in the OFF position. But I'm a huge fan of Rod Serling, and TZ is the only TV series we've ever bought on DVD. I posted this notice about the marathon for other people who haven't.

As for income and knowing how to use my knowledge, my partner and I have been retired since 2001. We're doing just fine thanks.
