two free maytags

i have 2 maytags i'd like to give to someone here, if they want them...the newer one is an a408 that needs a timer($75) the older is an electric wringer, i have no idea what model. i live in northern michigan, central u.p. ... if there's anyone that wants to make the trip here to get them, they are yours. i can send pictures..but don't know how to get them here on the board...

In your other posting, "Can Anyone Help", concerning front load machines, I'd seriously think that keeping the A408 is a wise choice - get the timer repaired/replaced.
And inspect it for any potential issues, like belts, corrosion, leaks, etc.
Those things are repairable and insure the machine will last for decades.
I have an A482 now, for 39 years it's been running like new.
Just about anything made "New" these days is questionable as far as reliability.
