That English Rose kitchen in Reply #231 has a very rare AEG 45cm wide dishwasher. Never saw such a high end 45cm wide AEG dishwasher before. Most of them were more BOL.

Do you gut and remodel kitchens Vacbear, or are all these photos rental properties you may help manage during, and after tenants move out?

Unfortunately I cannot see the toaster to recognise the brand, it is a modern, retro styled toaster rather than a retro toaster, I daresay its origin was China

This made me chuckle - only in my own home. The pictures are nothing to do with me at all, they are just ebay listings that I highlight:
1. In case anyone might be interested in buying or restoring a vintage kitchen
2. To let folks from other countries get a flavour of British styles - predominantly in the 1960s and 1970 - to compare with their own
3. Create a record for younger British readers to see how things used to be.
For my sins, I am that species most hated here - a "bean counter" - and indeed my background is that very sort of bean counter working in manufacturing to reduce cost and increase company profits. So sue me, been doing it for nearly 40 years now, not many left to go.

Many are jealous
of bean counters. Face it, without you, whom would configure budgets, etc.?
Even they are red lined when it comes to an area of specialty.
A P&L bottom line is a bottom line regardless if it is sheet metal, or beans.
My hubbys brother in law is a CPA. He's been a CFO in automotive supplier technologies for years. He tried changing to another field area several years ago. No one wanted him.
He took a job with a brake company acquired from Bosch by Aki Bono about 5 years ago. 10, 12 hour days, and still had to answer the phone at 11 p.m. if the head of the karutzu from Tokyo called. Never a problem with his budgets in 5 years.
He found another job a few months ago with a better work life/home life balance.
Last month, they severed him. Said he wasn't assertive enough. If you knew him, that is not him at all.
Is an actuary a type of accountant also? The government has many.
