UK Persil Price Alert

Tesco have 40 wash size S&M liquid on at £5.00 a bottle at the moment - whites, colours and non bio. For those who like powders Whites and Non Bio 45 wash both at £6.00 but they don't seem to have a colours powder in that size.

I noticed they had pouches of Surf liquid as well, rather like the "refill" bags we used to get 20 years ago which is the first time I have seen them in a very long time, but to be honest I don't go down the detergents aisle very often as I like Persil and but it when on promotion. This is the first time I have bought detergent in at least a year while I used up my stash which I brought from my last house and now I am living in a soft water area I am good now until at least into 2017

Persia refill bags popped up here in Ireland already. Spotted them in SuperValu (which despite the name is kind of the equivalent of Waitrose over here - as in it has 4 types of quails eggs and is constantly trying to out gourmet itself.)

Sainsbury's had 30 wash Persil S/M refill bags in Bio for 50p, don't know why because the Colour & Non-Bio were still £6. Sold out unfortunately otherwise I would've bought some. They did have Ariel Clean & Compact colour for 50p so I bought some of that instead.

Persil Small & Mighty 60 wash £7 at Sainsbury's too.

Upon reading the Original Post, I couldn't help but think that a thread referring to 'S+M liquid' belongs in the 'Dirty Laundry' section...... Or is it just me??? ;-)

P.S. As a non 'detergents / laundry products' buff, it has taken until the end of typing my post to realise that in this context 'S&M' will refer to 'Small and Mighty'... I think I have seen it advertised on TV. We use Aldi Almat. ;-)

I really like the Almat powders, Dave. I don't use liquids so I haven't tried their liquid selections but they seem to get good reviews too.
