If you go to the actual product site it indicates that it "sonicly"  sterilizes items.  Never heard of that.  Wash your clothes, dishes and jewelry all for the low cost of $42.

Looks pretty hokey,

and I doubt it does much. However, ultrasonic cleaning is widely used for cleaning auto parts, and yes, dishes. Many fire and water damage restoration companies us ultrasonic cleaning to deep clean smoke damaged items, and those that have been submerged in flood water. The equipment used costs in the thousands of dollars. Link to Annissa Coy showing how it works.

It's a nice toy. It's around $33.- here but it doesn't come with the plug/usb charger. I guess they import it and throw the American plug away. lol
