Ultrasonic clothes dryers...

Ran across this on the net the other day. It's a video. The idea is that the ultrasound shakes the water molecules off the fabrics, in about half of the time as a heat driven dryer. And of course using much less energy.

I just hope the sound it makes isn't as annoying as the soundtrack for the video...

told me Whirlpool was experimenting with ultrasonic washers back in the 80's.
