Unusual Monitor Top (Rio Linda)

Posting this for entertainment purposes only.  I've never seen one like this.  Travis, is this a modified unit?

Not modified. That was the last rendition of the Monitor Top from 37 or 38. Has a storage drawer at the bottom. The same cabinet was used on the "Flat Top" models with the compressor/condenser underneath which were being produced at the same time. The Flat Top models didn't have room for the storage drawer though. [this post was last edited: 9/26/2016-12:10]

That's a 37. It also seems to be the smaller model. They're weird and cute.
