G'day David
It's funny, I read so many arguments on different forums ( non Washing related) about PC users feeling slightly verbally abused by us Mac users most commonally that we shit all over PC's.
I used Windows up until 2 years ago. I've always been a laptop fan but went thro three or four laptops made by different brands all with the same common complaint by me, which was after opening a couple of heavy duty programs and a few hours of use they would shit themselves and i would have to reboot to get rid of the frozen screen.
I eventually got talked around by a few mates to go with Apple, so I bought a Powerbook g4 and I've never looked back. The operating system is Far superior to Windows( even office for mac which runs Windows, Excel, Powerpoint etc). I run some pretty hardcore programs and it never freezes/crashes slows etc. I never close it down. I just slam the top down. As soon as I open the top it's back up. I can't rave enough about mac and their system. It's a pleasure to use the system, it looks hot, works well and I no longer have to go thro folder after folder after folder to get to doco's I'm looking for.
I have recently upgraded to a Macbook Pro and given my powerbook to my folks knowing that they will find it eaiser to use than there PC. As far as I'm concerned the current OS X system - Tiger pisses all over Vista, so can only imagine how vintage vista will feel in a month when Apple release there new operating System - Leapord.
So too all those PC users that feel Mac users ram there enthusiasm down thier throats - we're not being arrogant. Try one and see ;-)
