Chris, miele appliances don't "talk" to each other unless one purchases those domotic devices ka miele@home or con@ctivity.

$400 more than the Miele Heat Pump, that seems like a fair bit even in that segment of the market.

Has anyone actually used a heat pump drier? For a whole host of reasons, I've never been pleased with my Miele condensor drier, These days I run it with the condensor removed as in our hot humid weather in Brisbane it could take 3 plus hours to dry a full load.

My understanding is that the Heat pump driers can operate at lower temps and still managed to condense?

i've heard mixed reports......... our Miele heat pump dryer here works ok. uses half the electricity of normal condensor model, so is "green" as a dryer can be.
