Hello Collectors,
What your rarest vacuum cleaner or cleaners that You own/

I think I have a couple of them: 1937 Kenmore Imperial Bugeye,1940 UK Remoco, 1959 Rca Whirlpool Imperial Mark IV and a Hoover constellion Model 84-Rare color

Here's mine

I have a Electrolux Model CA that i found in a thrift store. I later put a model G hose and PN with it. Has the wider floor brush that's not shown, sorry:(

two more

RCA Whirlpool Imperial Mark 12, i have the attachments inside the vacuum. I am missing the wand but i imagine any Sears wand will do. I know the Sanyo Transformax is not rare, but how many "Hello Kitty" vacuums do you see? Meow!

I have a Hoover 61 that the "experts" tell me is a potential ribbon winner for most original condition and at the convention in St. Louis I bought a Kenmore Imperial "Bugeye" vac. I'll try to get some pics up of them...

Marty, that Hello Kitty vac is a riot!

Hey Marty

So your whirlpool is totally complete except the wand? All mine has is the power nozzle and the dusting brush. MY Rca picture is in the RCA Whirlpool Thread

PS: My whirlpool's former owner is John Young who used to be a VCCC member

OH Marty by the Way:

Hey Marty I posted a picture of your Lux Ca in the commercial vacuum cleaner thread from the calforina convention and in that picture it shows the wide floor brush

The rarest...

The rarest machine that I have is my Hoover "Baby" 103, though I probably have some other good candidates as well, such as my Hoover 31 Convertible and Special 105. The pictures don't do it justice, but it runs strong and the tufted brushroll is in great shape. I still need to contact Marty Kaplan about a possible restoration of this machine so I can bring it to Omaha next year.

Model 574

Promo Hoover Convertible, 1962.
The production run was just over 2 weeks in April and May of '62
Just over 25,000 made, this is the rarest of the 1960's models.
The colors are Canton red and Pearl white with silver trim.
(Thanks to Robb-Rexaircollector for finding this beauty for me!)

...then again, there's my newly acquired Canadian model 89. It's an incredible machine and has the exhaust filter that American Electroluxes abandoned right before the AF was introduced.

tell me please about the wand on your RCA WP. Is it two wands or one long wand? I'm thinking it may be one what with the extra length on the power nozzle and on the curved wand of the hose. One wand should make it just the right height. However! With only one wand it would make it difficult to use the floor brush. You would have to be practically stooping over to vacuum.

Electrolux XXX

Here is some more vacuum pictures for you all to enjoy--This is one of my favorite "babies"--It's a beauty! Enjoy!

Pics of two of my rarest to follow when my camera is charged!

A couple of rare Juniors ;)

Ok

On the left we have a 1981 U1012. The "normal" version of this is a light sand colour with Gold bag and trim(It is very similar to the US U1025??).

This version was made 3 years after the National design had changed to the shape of the U1206 on the right(model U1036)as a mail order exclusive and this is the only one ive seen on Ebay or real life!).

On the right is the U1206. This was a CO-OP dept store exclusive and ran 1985-88(mine is July 87). Not only was this the last Dirtsearcher Junior It was also the last "proper" Junior produced(The Turbopower Junior dosent count as it was just a Turbopower(Soverign) with a cloth outer bag).
