radio buttons

NeptuneBob and LordKenmore-

The buttons are stations that are (or were) from the Portland, Oregon AM radio market which is where I found it. You can change what stations they are tuned to from the inside and then just change the call letter decal on the dial from a big sheet of decals that came with the radio when new. You also have the option of manually dialing in the AM or FM stations as you choose.

Thanks for posting the photos. I'll try to get some posted of mine this week. scored it at the local antique auction about 14yrs ago. Waited all day for it to come up, and figured it was so nice that the price would be crazy. I was prepared to pay $500 for it....that's how nice I thought it was. I wound up paying $45!

Re: the VW Rabbit P/u.....yes, that's my daily driver! Found it on a farm about 35mi north. It was literally in pieces and the guy gave it to me just to get rid of it. Just to be stubborn, I put it back together as-is, where-is, and drove it home. I did a quicky to the engine and got another 40k miles out of it before I finally built a real engine for it. I rebuilt the transmission, had the seats upholstered in original VW vinyl, and had it painted in the original color.
