Hello washer fans!?

i stumbled upon this video on youtube
it sheds some light how consumer reports
exactly runs there tests. enjoy

This test is quite similar to those I used to perform at Electrolux´s Laundry Lab. With tests like this we can see that 2 extra milimeters on agitator fins can be the difference between an excellent washer and a complete disaster.

But there are some differences between american and brazilian standards and habits.
American washers are great. The cycles are short and the hot or warm water temperature are standard for all washers and consumers really use them, plus the wonderful detergents you have = Perfect results.

Considering the (poor) quality of our laundry detergents, and the cold water preffered by most of brazilian consumers our washers MUST clean better to get the same results (yes, they suffer a lot). Many brazilian washers uses the american "gentle" speed as "heavy" and our gentle speed is definitelly boring. BUT IT CLEANS!

Less mechanical action, lower temperature and less chemicals mean longer cycles to compensate the Sinner´s Circle theory but at least our clothes last longer.

When I have some time, I´ll make some videos so show you...
