Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

It cleaned up so nice!

I can't get over how quiet the agitate and spin is.

What a fun machine.  Can't wait to see it washing.

You will have such fun with these washers.

I originally thought you had found the matching dryer when I first saw your post on the two machines.  Did Thor have a matching dryer?

Thanks for the cool video.

oh wow!!

I can't wait to see this washer do a load of laundry! I want to see how the clothes & water move with this kind of agitation! I think there's new HE machines that do this kind of agitation but of course, with minimal "HE" water. I want to see the tub with water, washing the way WASHING was meant to be done, WITH WATER!
Hm hm hm...
;o)

Hello Leon.

You certainly have a incredible collection of rare and beautiful machines. Not to mention the gift to restore them like many of our members here.

This Trimatic is just intriguing with it's mechanical marvels that make it "Tick".

Glad this Gem has fallen into your hands. Good Luck to You and all your restorations.

Healing!!

Hi Leon,
This is such a awsome machine. I suppose it will have a overflow rinse, and I bet it will turn over the clothes really well! Thanks for sharing!
Best Wishes
Peter

Leon - alot is new to me, what an interesting machine. The shape of the agitator really surprised me, not to mention the movement. Cool and what shape it's in!

Washing instructions

My family had one of these machines when I was growing up. It is unusual in that you first need to manually fill, Hot wash, warm wash or cold wash. You can add the clothes either before or after this step. Rotate cycle selector, (right) to wash time then back to water selector on left and dial cold rinse wash or warm rinse wash. This will start the cycle. Once started motor does not shut off, at end of wash time there is no spin of suds, the water selector for rinse turns on the water full blast and for ten minutes there is an overflow rinse and then straight to spin dry for the time selected by the little toggle, 2 thru 8 minutes. This machine was an absolute water hog and depending on how much detergent was used sometimes it was spinning out suds in final spin. It was also famed for the fastest automatic ever, seventeen minutes for a complete wash load. Five minute wash, ten minute overflow rinse and spin toggle set at two minutes, seventeen minutes in all. Very reliable, do not remember any service calls but water usage compared to now a days outrageous.

Very Cool Washer Leon

You and I have certainly gotten some rare finds in the last year or so that are in incredible condition. It sounds like this was quite a water user which is probably the reason that more weren't sold, reminds me of the Gas Okeef&Merritt Combo that I got a year ago that did not spin at all, went from wash to rinse, rinse rinse and directly into dry.

Hopefully I will get a chance to see all your goodies when we get to Australia in 2017.
