Hi guys,

Well, I spend some time this weekend doing the water testing of the Healing Thor Trimatic. The water valves will need work and the pump will need new hose clamps, but considering its been sitting idle for at least 10 years, its working the way it should.

Sorry if you can't see the clothes turning over as much and contrary to what I say in the video, there's NO hot rinse.....I thought there was, my bad! Lol

Hope you enjoy!

Cheers
Leon

Congratulations of finding this washing machine Leon, looks great, like the flexibility of the controls, and thats some force on the Fill Flume, if you hadnt seen the wobble washplate in action and with the lid down you would think from the sounds that it was a reciprocal agitation action - love the clicking back n forth of the timer?

Enjoy, Mike

Fun Video, Thanks!

What a smooth running machine!  So cool how it just goes into spin with the wash plate still wobbling.

Would sure be nice to see a really close up picture of what the inside of the tub and wash plate looks like. In the video it is hard to see anything.

1955 Healing / Thor!

Thank you for posting this most awsome washer. I am surprised it doesn't do a spin and refill to do a overflow rinse. I have never heard of a washer that did such a long overflow rinse! I love the sounds of the timer. I would like to see this run with a full load of laundry!
Best Wishes
Peter

Wobble plate & tub....

Bruce, please check out my previous thread: it's all there.

Hey Leon,

That is incredibly cool, when it finally spun the water out, was it clear or still a bit sudsy, that must be one of the longest overflow rinses on record.

It must've been well looked after to be running so smooth and quietly after 50 - 60 years.

I'm so pleased that it came to fruition after so many hurdles to get them here.

Cheers

Nathan

Sorry, I stand corrected. I had forgotten about the previous post. Most unusual machine. There are things about it that remind me of an old Norge machine. Like the tub, pump and the way it looks underneath.

That's really wonderful, Leon.  Thanks for making the video.  I'm surprised there is no spin-out before the rinse,  was that found in other brands as well?  I wonder if it's a water saving benefit?  10 minutes of overflow rinsing - so cool.  It really did look like the water was pretty clear.

Vintage Australia

Leon,
Thanks for the video, amazing. Brought back my childhood. Truly a visual experience I never thought to see again. Machine looks and sounds pristine. Our machines tick had a little more rhythm. Tick ahh de tick, tick ahh de tick. Amazing what is out there and a true compliment to Australian ingenuity.
Now on to the holly grail, there has to be a Malleys 10 out there somewhere waiting for you.
Best of luck.
