Well I found a T.O.L. Viking it's 499 and it's a Scratch and dent but the dent is in the rear tub and very small it would never be a problem. This dishwasher has a 1/2 H.P. 3 Phase motor and a ultra hard food disposer but it looks like a euro with all the filters in it.I have never heard of Asko using a food disposer in there D.W.Did they just put a grinder in the drain pump of it?I was impressed with the motor power and the Maytags and G.E.s I was looking at are in the price range and more..Has Viking improved or are they still terrible? Whirlpool is taking over the world when it comes to washers,is G.E. next but that would be blocked hopefully..

Hello Wes,

I have seen the Viking that you are talking about. It is a very rugged machine! The one that I saw was also in a scratch and dent appliance place.
Are you thinking about getting it?
I also see the older Viking dishwasher that look like the ovens all the time! In thrift stores! I don't think they were very good dishwashers. Most of them I can tell from looking at the bottom leak water. Sad for something so pricey!!!
