Vintage 1948? Hamilton Clothes Dryer

Seller says: "Antique /Vintage Hamilton Automatic Clothes Dryer. I do not know if this dryer works. Payment at time of pick up."

Just my 2 cents w-a comment:

I could tell you how a dryer works. There's this cord with something that has two metal prongs on it, typically. There's a thing called a wall socket..if I get too technical...let me know.

I have that one in the electric model, 975E, which has a manufacturing date of 1951. Jeff has rewired the motor start switch and plans to install it Tuesday.
