....One of those freaky DIY rattle-can paint jobs that turned out great. They do surface from time to time.
For the kiddies: Back in the Jurassic Era, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and appliance manufacturers offered new colors every once in a while, you could buy spray paint that matched - both the base color and the darker "shading" color. It took some skill, but it could be used to update an appliance.
