sorry , you asked for it! lol. Other people are equally in good taste. It's their taste. I just happen to like what you like. I've seen some other stuff here on aw.org that is over-the-top beautiful in electronics. Thank you for sharing and if you were anywhere nearby, I'd be knocking on your door like a kid, "Hi Mr. Will it's Mr. Phil ...can I see your tv's? " (grin)

I like that little Quasar clicker. I had a small Motorola B&W set years ago that had a one-button remote that only changed channels. When you put the set on an inactive station the TV would turn off after a few seconds. It was helpful if you fell asleep late at night since most stations stopped broadcasting after the late, late show or the chiller diller movie...just something from the old days, kids.

Those older Ultrasonic "clickers" Remember a freind of mine had a small poodle dog he trained to respond to the clicker-A Remote control Dog!One of the buttons signaled him to bark, another to come-and another to go outside.Sort of neat.
what is the matter with the TT in the Zenith Hi-fi console?-usually these can be fixed-you need to remove the TT from the console and take it to a bench-clean out the works and regrease it.then clean the idler wheel tire under the TT platter.A "C" ring holds the platter on the spindle-it is often hidden under the platter mat.And you can clean the motor shaft and lube the motor if it doesn't have sealed bearings.
I like how folks have adapted these older Hi-Fi console sets to use with modern electronics-if the modern device outputs audio-it should work thru the console amps and speakers!
