Oh, For Lord's Sake!

This one takes several cakes. I hereby nominate the writer of this ad as Miss Information of 2014.

Number One: This is not repeat not repeat not a 1964 model. The presence of a window means it's 1967 or later. This version with the brushed-metal insert on the door handles was made through at least 1972.

Number Two: It's a nice-looking JK-29, but it's not by any means worth $1025.

Number Three: I cannot think of any parts - or any combination thereof - on this range that would inspire an owner of another JK-29 to part with $1025.

What the Hell are they smoking? More to the point, what the Hell do they think everyone else is smoking? [this post was last edited: 3/18/2014-20:20]

It does look low miles, but still not worth even half what they're asking.

I think their brains have been rattled one time too many down there in Hollister.

It's Beautiful.

And I'd love to own one.

For $250. $350 for verifiable low use, immaculate condition and all accessories and paperwork present.

Accessories included a rotisserie (frame and spit to fit onto the broiler pan), for use in the upper oven only, plus a meat probe thermometer. [this post was last edited: 3/18/2014-20:24]

My Aunt in Cartersville GA

Has a very similar one, Lightning got the upper oven and no one can seem to fix it, so she uses the bottom oven!!LOL

Tom (CircleW):

My guess on this particular unit would be '71-'72, somewhere in there. The oven set and temperature dials, the clock/timer knobs, the door latch knobs and the latch release button and trim are precisely the same ones used on my '72 J-370.
