home-ec. class....

that's what this kitchen set up reminds me of, being back in jr. high, in my home-ec class!!! LOL....

Interesting set-up. It's the first time I've seen a complete stove in the lineup.
I've seen these with the cooktop and then a separate wall oven but not together as an actual "stove".

Interesting how the burner and oven controls are to the side. Was that an actual concern for safety or was there another reason?

I'd love to see a more modern design of this, perhaps with an added washer/dryer combo w/stacked separate (condensing) dryer. Maybe an 18" dishwasher (that looks like a 24") and a microwave. I bet it'd sell well in cities in the North East with micro apartments and even more micro kitchens.

The colour doesn't do anything for me though. I never liked that colour, even as a kid.

I think the controls off to the side would have been a safety issue so you wouldn't get burned while using it as well as to help preserve the controls from getting melted from the residual heat coming from the stove.
