Interior shot
I worked as service manager at the local Cadillac dealer in the 1980's. A totaled 78 Eldo was salvaged in our body shop. I used the white pillow seats in my car.Later I had the door panels redone in white also. I also had the car stripped and repainted in a 1985 Cadillac color: Autumn Maple Firemist. And added the gold emblems. Those were rare in 1985. So it turned out as a one of a kind car. It was once featured in a hardcover book on American car culture from the fifties to the eighties.(from the UK). The book was called "Street Dreams" and was written by David Berry and photographed by Nicky Wright. I have a copy of the book.
