Help Support :

We'll be heading down that way in Feb and I was so thinking about this unit. But, I don't think we can remod with a surface unit and wall oven and have the room we have now. We'll prob have to go with a free-staning unit.

I did ask for a pic of the oven and the other misc stuff, though! Why not torture myself?

I feel sick

I actually felt sick reading the add, hes gutting all the original fixtures from the house! I would scream with joy if I found that in my kitchen!!!!

I bet they pull the original kitchen units out too.

SO SO SO sad, and yet it happens time and time again.

Here in the UK it is STILL the fashion to pull out beautiful Victorian fixtures and make everything beige, bland and laminated.

All these programs on TV showing how to buy an old home and fix them up for the rental market have a lot to answer for, and what makes me so sad is EVERY SINGLE HOUSE, when they show the BEFORE and AFTER shots, looks identical.

I am sat here in my bedroom typing this able to look at the beautiful Victorian bedroom fire place that is still intact and working.

One question tho, when they say built in griddle, is that the kind of griddle that you would cook say sausages / bacon on, or is it something else?

John, yes that and pancakes, grilled cheese sandwitches, hamburgers.

Well, the counter top unit and oven, as well as the tile, were taken to Resource York yesterday. He's pulling out more tile and the kitchen sink today and tomorrow, and if anyone wants any of it, it'll have to be out by tomorrow eve.

I'm getting a pic of the sink and tile for the he** of it. Now I have to know!
