I  think this has come up for sale before...  It's a D&M portable - could be branded as an American Kitchens, Kenmore, Admiral or others.  Shame they don't have more photos...

It's interesting that it came up for sale before, since there is a bunch of stuff for sale here and this was buried within a collage of other for-sale items.

D&M, really? I thought it pre-dated D&M's presence.

Tnanks, bwoods, I read the link . There are some divided views on everything. I'd say this is just a cool piece of history and for a daily driver, it wouldn't work for us. But I love the look, how the racks open on top and how it was another step to better dishwashers. (and I/we do pre-rinse, but then the new dishwasher here n this "compartment" is not so great). Thanks again.
