I have a Vintage Electrolux LX. And anyone that's own one of these knows that it's a touch working vac. I have tried to colect all the parts. I love it when the bags full the door pops open and the spring throws the bag out. Anyone else have this unit? Love to hear from yah.
Great fun. I don't have one but have played with them and they are seriously built like a heavy metal tank. I imagine many woman might have trouble even picking it up and moving it any distance.
I picked this up a few years ago and I use it to clean the wood floors. I have a vintage Kirby for the carpeted areas. My mom had one and that's the main reason I wanted to have one. It cleans very well and does weigh as ton. When we were kids we called it the "Ton-a-Cleaner"
It has the wrong hose and only a couple of tools, and the automatic eject feature no longer is operational. But I love it. When I use it I think of my mom.
I have a couple of Lux LX-the bag ejectors have long corroded beyond recognition-the machines do still work-you have to check the bag yourself.Would like to see one with a working bag mechansim.Humid climates are hard on these mechanims
