This Sears Coldspot deep freezer was in the house when we moved in. I was sure if it was working, but after I opened it, it was working alright, with about 3 inches of ice on all for sides. The last tenant had several gallon milk bottles of frozen water in it. I unplugged it, and let it thaw out, cleaned her up, so I could stock up on meat, breads, and frozen vegies. She's not much to look at on the outside which brings me to my next question.
How do I go about restoring the outside? I was thinking of sanding the outside and getting some appliance spray paint and painting her white. Is this all I need to do, or are there other steps involved.
Thanks,
Jim
