I think I made a huge mistake. I had to boil a large amount of water today so I put pots on all four burners of my range at once. Now only the back burner on the right is working. I know next to nothing about older appliances like this. The only information I have on the range is that it is:
- a frigidaire ceramatop by gm
- I believe the top is corningware?
- it appears to be "harvest yellow" if that helps in determining the age/model. I'm guessing it's been in the apartment since the early to mid seventies.

There is no other information on the appliance. It is built in so I don't know how to check if there is any other information out of sight, such as a model number.
The oven works still. Tried flipping the breaker but to no avail.
My room mate is not happy with me and I'm assuming my landlord will not be either. Any tips? I'm desperate for information. I have looked all over the Internet and this seems to be the only site where anyone seems to have information on matters such as these.
Also, I'm unable to upload pictures from my mobile phone. Here are two links to pictures of the range.

Three Elements Out

It is unlikely that three elements all failed at the same time, so a someone with knowledge of electrical wiring and appliance repair should get into the control panel area and look for a common wire connection that overheated and failed. Most electric ranges are built with the incoming power that goes to the burners going to one switch and then on to the next one and another etc etc, so it is sometimes fairly easy to fix a problem like this.

Sudden multiple failure

I agree entirely with Combo52. Almost certainly a failure in 'Daisy Chain' wiring. Could be in the 'live (hot)' or 'neutral (cold)' side of the wiring. depending on what has burnt out, you should be able to get at least three out of the four working again. You may need a new switch for the fourth, if the old one has overheated. Anyone who is fairly handy with appliances should be able to help you.

Best of luck from the other side of the 'Pond'
