Was the name General Electric used for their cocoa brown. If Frigidaire had something comparable (as it appears they did) I do not know the official name of the color.
It could be Honey Beige, but in real life I remember that to be lighter. They had another rare color around '66 called Autumn Haze, which this may very well be.
Tom - I was thinking it would be hard to know for sure, until a code(?) on the stove is read. Were those indicated on the same plaque as the model number?
I really like the watercolor graphics of this piece. That and the 'Space-Age' references with the refrigerators - especially the Star Trek-esque models with the bubbles on their heads!
That is a cool reference site. I originally found it looking for auto paint colors. You can search by maker or by year. The fact there were also appliance colors there was an added bonus.
Love in the brochure how the compressor is no more but was now the "power capsule". [this post was last edited: 3/23/2016-10:41]
What a cool brochure - thanks for posting. I love the Ride-Aire...do you have one of those in your collection? ..so much fun looking at all these brochures and appliances when it was a new space-age world.
