I have a Hobart dishwasher that was in an old building we bought last year. I have been told that it is desirable by some. I have attached pics. Please let me know if this is something anyone in your group would be interested. We live in Berkshire County Massachusetts.

Thanks,

Mary or Burt Harrington

I want...

That's so cool. It would be like putting your dishes in a trash can. I wonder how much shipping would be. Oh Chris, where are you?

I have one of those,

It is a Sears Roebuck unit, mine is a gravity drain; I don't
know if they were offered with pumps. No; mine don't work.
Its impellar is toast, more like burnt toast, but everything
else is intact. I love the round stainless racks.

Cool toy!

Yes Homart is a Sears brand. My house had a Homart heating system; the house was built in 1946 and the boiler does appear to have been from that era.

now thats cool.. shame there is no window like in the youngstown, but its still awesome.. travis should go and get it

I wote to them...

They say that they have had a "wide range of numbers" as far as value goes so they are looking for an offer. I think that it's neat and am considering getting it but I have no idea of value. Is it, for sure, a gravity drain?

So is this machine prior to the late forties? How long was Sears branding items Homart?. Was the Kenmore and Coldspot name also used at that time? I will guess that homart d/w's were before D&M was in business or at least before their relationship with Sears?
