Vintage Hotpoint toaster

I have one of those old Hotpoint toasters with the "wing" type doors on either side. Under the bottom plate is a magnetic coil with a small be-be that rings the bell. The coils is broken. Anyone ever found a coil that will replace one of these? Do you just go to the local electronics store?
