Oh bother....
This pretty closely matches my 71' Kenmore 800 Dryer... Furthermore, we will be at our 2nd home in Old Orchard beach Me.this weekend. (about an hour away) Man would they be sharp together... Potentially low use judging by the pristine feature sticker on top...The struggle is real....

The agitator and softener dispenser are original to this ‘69/‘70 Kenmore 700. Nice machine. I have one in avocado that needs bearings.

What an incredibly sophisticated mechanical timer driven washing machine.
Love the "enzyme soak" "2nd rinse", and "cold water" options. Suppose last bit means unless selected one gets a warm rinse. Most certainly a washer that predates efficacy standards introduced in reaction to energy crisis of 1970's.

Launderess, yes, the cold rinse option meant a cold rinse regardless of what the programmed cycle called for--in this case, the the two cottons white/colors and delicate cycles all had a warm rinse as standard. This 700 was one of the last of the infamous Kenmore "alphabet" washers. Our Kenmore 800 as the next model up and was essentially this washer on steroids so to speak. Had essentially all the same features but the 5 wash/rinse combinations were offered by an independent temperature knob rather than integral in the timer; timed triple detergent/bleach/softener dispensers; and option for either soak or prewash only or auto advanced from soak or prewash to normal cycle with detergent dispensed.

The 700 of the featured sale is basically a faux Lady Kenmore with the timer programmed for temperatures at each of the setpoints but without the pushbutton mechanism that locks the timer at those setpoints. The Cold Water Option switch allows for 1) following the Auto programming, 2) overriding only the Rinse to cold, or 3) forcing both Wash *and rinse* to cold.
The 800 in Reply 10 is not an alphabet timer, nor is the timer programmed with temperatures ... which makes it effectively overall more versatile since any of the five temp combos can be selected for any wash time or cycle. For example, the 700 provides only Warm/Warm, Warm/Cold, or Cold/Cold for the Delicate cycle. The 800 can also do Hot/Warm and Hot/Cold.

My eyes could be fooling me because that tub looks speckled. That could have been a replacement, as the tub for this model would be white.

My 700 has a speckled wash basket .
From what I remember, Kenmore model series (600,700, 800, 900, etc.) each had sub-series with variations in features. Many times there would be slightly different versions in the special sale catalogs, than what was shown in the big Fall-Winter or Spring-Summer books. Tub finish, water level selections, and dryer door size were some of them.
The slight variations were so Sears could legally have those simultaneous sale and not-sale price offerings of essentially the same machine.
