I got plumbing and electrical work completed in garage in my new home in Tucson, Arizona. Machines are in place but they all need some repairs. Unfortunately, I do not know how to repair them but found mechanic who enjoys working on them and considers it a challenge. Most machines need minor repairs such as change of belts or hoses. Frigidaire WI 56 had to be taken to the shop or as I say, "in the hospital". 1962 Westy coin op front loader that I just won on ebay works like a charm but all of a sudden, timer stopped working so it has to be sent to Mid West timer service in Benton Harbor, Mi.
When all is completed, I will take pictures.

Hi Ross, congrats on your new space! Looking forward to the pictures. Just as a bit of advice, IMHO, I would be very careful before you take your WI-56 to anyone for "service". What is the problem with your Unimatic? If they are going to work on the transmission it is imperative that they know what they are doing otherwise it could make matters worse. Most retail appliance techs are too young to have ever seen a machine like this and are more interested in repair than restoration. There is a huge difference between the two.
