My apologies in advance if someone already posted this. It doesn't appear to match my Maytag Dryer so maybe someone else would like to snag this. Auction ends in less than 24 hours.

I work in West Allis!

That's the same washer that my grandmother used to have.. hers had the small tub though. We gave it to a friend who already had a washer when we got our Neppies.. but he is keeping the 'Tag as a spare. After playing with Jeff's Maytags two weekends ago, I think I want it back!

Grandma built her house in 1974... is that the correct date for that washer?

It's an A108SS!

No speed selection, dark blue tub with 3-vent turquoise agitator--an A108SS.

I'm getting picky; I want the center-dial Maytags with the blue, rather than bronze, lower bezel. When they changed the timed bleach dispenser on the 806 to a stupid bleach funnel, they lost a fan. I also loved the contrast of the small capacity model agitators--old polypropylene(?)black on the bottom, new turquoise on top. I also liked that the upper-end models sported a chrome top reminiscent of the AMP floaters. Macy's in New York city divided it's appliance department by brands in clusters like a museum. The Maytags were clustered in a square back to back so you discern different features since all the models were so similar in appearance. Classics.
