I bought one on ebay and it arrived with a big chip in the bottom of the glass jar. Does anyone know where I can get a new jar that fits? I'm heartbroken because it's such a beauty.

Beautiful Osterizer! The jar from more "modern" Oster blenders (1950s through 1990s, perhaps even beyond) will still fit the blade base assembly, however the look won't be quite right. Most of the later jars had a moulded-in handle as part of the jar. The good news is that they will still work just fine until you can find a vintage replacement jar!
