Has anyone powder coated a range before? I’m looking at ranges and I can’t find what I need in turquoise for anything reasonable. I found what I want in white, could powder coating be the solution? It’s rated to 400 degrees. I can’t imagine the surface of the range is 400 degrees to the touch.

Powder Coating A Range Top

Even 400F can easily be exceeded around electric elements if they are used carelessly, Gas burners can also cause problems.

You may get away with PC on range tops if you use good cookware that does not allow the surface elements to get red hot, on gas ranges look for one that has separate burner bowls that are chrome or porcelain and don't PC the burner bowls.
