That is one really neat handle on the fridge. And it appears to be in really great shape, too. Given the somewhat squared cabinet, I am thinking it would be close to 1957, maybe just a year or two before.

Show that to someone who trys to tell you a old fridge is a energy hog Then show them the rating plate on a new fridge 10-12 amps on some.
