Andy - You're welcome, and thank you for reminding me....it's sheer luck to find these things...I hope it repeats itself again. It might be a dry spell for me for a while..but someone else might find the next set!


It's nice of you to offer - I have no wish list that would really make sense, until we move from this "compartment". Life happened, so we're here for a while - and I get to enjoy seeing the others enjoy their finds and a few of my own lucky finds.

Let's hope it's not a dust bowl before the next interesting pairs of (....fill in blanks...) show up.

It's very kind and nice to hear a compliment for the work - you do the same as me - and so, right back to you - thank you!

These CL ads come and go fast when the product and price is right, don't they? I don't know how to spot a KDS-58 from an ad, but any older Kitchenaid gets poster girl/boy status here! LOL! I'll post it.

I like that Kenmore - with the knobs on each side of the center dial, offset to the right and the design background with Kenmore written nearer the lid area - very interesting how they designed these machines, but your 100, Gordon, is cool as well - that opening for the clothes - is that oblong or distorted only in photo - not a round opening, maybe?

It looks so much better in your photos and I like it even more now. The one in the photo has a green top - looks like the old linoleum? I like yours better - man, Drew, I can't get over how beautifully new looking it is.
New appliances put me to sleep even if they may be engineered better (if you find the right one) - I like that panel design - smaller profile types and the slightly larger ones, as well.

Do you think it's missing a lower front panel, way down below in the front near the floor-looks shorter in the front panel compared to yours?

The front door may be just open slightly, but your unit has a tight looking fit on the side where the door meets the right side front edges.

Also, the seller's unit's top definitely looks painted, not replaced with formica or other. Yuk! I'd have to strip that off and deal with whatever's hiding underneath.

Yours wins the beauty contest, anyways.
